J’ERRE DANS LA SOLITUDE

 

 

Par cet hiver sombre, les nuages sont lourds,

le froid envahit ma fenêtre tranquille

A la fin de la nuit, silence angoissé, bougie épuisée

Je pose mon pinceau, j’erre dans la petite cour

Le cri d’une oie sauvage annonce déjà l’aube.

I WANDER LONELY

 

 

Clouds are heavy, this dark winter

cold invades my quiet window

At the end of the night, painful silence, extinguished candle

I put my brush down, I wander in the small courtyard

The cry of a wild goose says the dawn is already here.
